Help KIVA get more families outdoors!

Hi there folks!
 
Since January of 2008, the Wild Donahues have been hosting free outdoor adventures for families in the Roanoke Valley.  We have had such a wonderful time connecting families with the many outstanding programs available in the area.
 
We are honored to be a part of making a difference!  Another group that is helping to make big changes is GOOD magazine.  We have been regular readers for many years and have been inspired to try many of their ideas locally.  When we read about a chance to participate in their Do Good Outdoors Challenge, we just knew we had a perfect match with KIVA.  This will be our second year of hosting an overnight camp out on the Appalachian Trail.  Winning their Do Good Outdoors Challenge would allow us the chance to take more outings and offer a chance for families to join us who may not have the supplies needed for an overnight adventure.
