As we said, there are some amazing things going on around Roanoke this weekend!

One that I am very excited about sharing is the Great Cloth Diaper Change Roanoke!

Ashley and I support this event 100%! When Ashley was on the delivery room table, delivering our first child, I whispered in her ear…

“Honey, if you go ahead and have this baby… I’ll change all the diapers.”

And she remembered that promise!

In those first few months when our oldest was newly with us… I changed hundreds of diapers. I remember celebrating with our youngest child by taking him to buy something at Toys R Us when he finished using his last box of diapers.

Our three kids alone, wrecked the environment. It is time to start making a change back to cloth diapers!

Here’s what one group of mom’s is doing to help make that happen:

The Great Cloth Diaper Change-Roanoke will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Salem, on Saturday, April 21st. We will start registration at 10:30am.

Here are the requirements of the location:
Each location needs to have a minimum of 25 participants (each participant must be 18 or
older)
… • Baby being diapered must be 39” tall or shorter
• The clean diaper must be 100% reusable and commercially available

The first 50 people to show up will get a goodie bag at time of registration! There will also be a raffle which will cost $1.00 per entry where you can get some great take along goodies that way also!
