Hello there!
Ashley and I are so excited about the upcoming KIVA for Hoodie Hoo Day! Every year, we invite families to walk along the Appalachian Trail with us to a lovely lookout spot where we will have a tea party and a chance to celebrate Hoodie Hoo Day with other families!
What is Hoodie Hoo Day? It is an actual, registered holiday, which encourages people to go outside and shout “Hoodie Hoo-Hoodie Hoo!” in hopes of chasing away winter and to welcome spring! More details here:

Although, Saturdayis not officially Hoodie Hoo Day, we will celebrate just a smidge early!
We always have such a nice time. The Donahues hope that you can join us!
Here are the details for Saturday’s walk:
Feb 18 2:00pm - Feb 18 4:00pm
311 parking lot for McAfee’s Knob. Bring a tea cup!
http://www.RoanokeOutside.com has an excellent resource filled website packed full of local hiking destinations. They have directions to the 311 parking lot where we will be meeting on Saturday. Visit the link here:

We will be taking a short hike the opposite direction on the AT, but will meet in the same parking lot.
Please let us know if you are planning on coming along. This will help us prepare how much water and snacks to bring. kivainfo@gmail.com
